Who can join Avro Academy?
Avro Academy is designed for young people — students, school leavers and young job seekers — who want to build practical, job-ready skills. You don't need any previous experience to get started.
Does it cost anything?
No. Every self-paced course is free forever — all the lessons, quizzes, downloads and certificates. No ads, and we never sell your data. Read our promise.
Will the courses always be free?
Yes — that's our promise. Avro Academy is supported by Avrotech and our partners. If we ever add extras that need a person's time, like live classes or one-on-one mentoring, they'll be optional and clearly priced, and every self-paced course stays free.
How much time do I need?
Courses are broken into short lessons you can complete at your own pace — most take 5 to 9 hours. A pathway of 4 to 6 courses takes about 20 to 45 hours in total. Many learners spend a few hours a week, fitting study around school, work or other commitments.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes — when you complete a course you'll receive a certificate of completion, and when you finish every course in a pathway you also get a pathway certificate. Your projects can be added to a portfolio to share with employers.
Can a parent or guardian manage my account?
Yes. Parents and guardians can set up and manage accounts for younger learners, so they can follow progress and support along the way.
Ready to build skills that get you hired?
Join Avro Academy today — every course is free forever, and your first step takes just a few minutes.
